New Dates for Theater Classes:

1-2-3 ACT!

Children’s Theater Class 

For Grades K – 5 with Boomie Pedersen

FALL 2013:

Mondays 4:00 – 5:00 pm

9/29/13:  New dates:  Monday, October 7 through Monday, November 25

(7 class weeks; no class November 4).

Wednesdays 3:45 – 4:45 pm

9/29/13:  New dates:  Wednesday, October 9 through Wednesday, November 20

(7 class weeks)

Nothing needed but imagination!  Using theater games and exercises, this class will encourage good audience skills while expanding the possibilities of good storytelling.  Students will begin to learn the language of stagecraft while developing confidence and a sense of working together.  This class is good preparation for the March Studio Performance Workshop – students interested in participating are encouraged to take this class.

Tuition:  $105 + $5 Registration Fee = $110.

Theater LAB:

Theater 101 – the Basics

 For Grades 6 – 12 with Boomie Pedersen

FALL 2013:

Wednesdays 5:00 – 6:15 pm

9/29/13:  New dates:  Wednesday, October 9 through Wednesday, November 20

(7 class weeks)

This class will focus on the basics of being in a production – from how to audition to how to build a character; from working with a partner to overcoming stage fright.  Students will have the opportunity to audition for, be cast in and work on a scene from a classic American play.  The class will culminate in a presentation of scenes.

 Tuition:  $126 + $5 Registration Fee = $131
