About the Camp Fair & a related talk this week (on Tuesday) at Field School:

Still researching camp options for the summer? Stop by Field School in Crozet on Sunday April 28th from 10-4 for a Summer Camp Fair to visit with representatives from local and regional day and overnight camps. Admission for the Camp Fair is free.

In the week before the fair, Field School is hosting a talk by Dr. Michael Thompson, whose recent book on summer camp has garnered a great deal of attention (Homesick and Happy: How Time Away from Home Can Help a Child Grow). We expect to have a full house for the Tuesday, April 23rd event, and we hope that it will inspire a good deal of follow-up interest in summer camps among area families.
