EXPERIMENTAL DRAWING

with John A. Hancock

July 21 – 25:  10:00 am – 1:00pm

For mature High School Students.

$165 (plus materials – list will be provided)

High School-aged teens (15 yrs+) will explore combining contemporary drawing strategies and materials with some very traditional techniques. Students will work with both wet and dry media. The finished projects students can choose to work on may well be large or very small, they could be un-conventional or even sequential in format. The instructor will provide lots of info and feedback. This class might just be a may be a good place for students hoping to get a new and exciting piece for their art or design college admissions portfolio.

 Please bring a snack & water bottle.

SEWING FOR YOUR DOLL OR TEDDY BEAR WORKSHOP

with Tiffany Clarke

July 21 – 24 (Mon – Thurs) from 2:00 – 5:30 pm

For rising 2nd Grade & up.

Tuition:  $165 ( includes art supplies)

(Class size limited to 14 – 16)

We will have an exciting and educational time learning to sew and making Native American crafts! Projects include sewing a Native American outfit and moccasins for a doll or stuffed animal, making beaded jewelry, weaving a small rug, making clay pretend food, making a tipi, and more!  We will have a break for snack each day and (weather permitting) will do some projects outside in our own class tipi.  Please bring a snack & water bottle daily!
