Drawing for Teens: Drawing with Color & Collage

For mature rising 8th graders & older
Drawing for Teens combines instruction in both traditional Classical as well as bold Contemporary Drawing Techniques. We will concentrate on combining Drawing (in B&W as well as Color) on Altered & Collaged surfaces. We will also likely combine multiple drawn (and possibly found) images.
Besides having more than 30 years of experience as a college drawing instructor and working with HS age students, I serve as an AP studio art & design judge and am the senior art judge for the NC Governors Schools. (This may be a good class for students wanting to create a piece for college and scholarship art/design portfolios.)
John A. Hancock has over 30 years’ experience teaching a broad range of painting, watercolor, drawing, and design to adults, college students, and teens.
