High School and mature Middle School (rising 8th grade) teens will explore traditional wet and/or dry media techniques and contemporary experimental and/or sequential formats for creating narrative drawings.  The instructor, an AP Studio Art judge and the senior art judge for the North Carolina Governors Schools, has 30 years’ experience both as a college drawing instructor and working with HS age students. (This may be a good class for students wanting to create a piece for college and scholarship art/design portfolios.) Tuition covers all supplies NEEDED for the class except a small sketchpad.

Bring-a-lunch option:
There will be a one-hour supervised lunch break from Noon – 1:00 pm if students would like to enroll in the Art Workshop (9:00 am – Noon), and then stay for the Drawing for Teens workshop (1:00 – 4:00 pm).  Students should bring a lunch to eat during the break.  Or, students may arrive one-hour early for Drawing for Teens, and bring a lunch to eat before the workshop begins.

Bring-a-lunch option:  $25 for the week.
