Bridget Mitchell studied Performance with Stella Adler in New York and Musical Theater at Otterbein College and Adelphi University. She taught Jazz at McGuffy Arts Center for Miki Liszt’s Summer Dance Workshops, and for Charlottesville’s Ice Skating Camp; she taught Broadway Jazz for Class with Nicole and Creative Jazz for several local studios. Presently she teaches Performing Arts at Renaissance School, where she’s building the Drama Department’s reputation for creativity, quality and community outreach. She has performed at many local venues including two one-woman performances at McGuffy Arts Center for Miki Liszt Dance Company’s First Fridays series. She was a part of the opening dance number for Tony Bennett for the grand opening of the Paramount on the downtown mall. Recently she appeared in a commercial for Gilda’s Club and presently she’s working on a performance art piece about a World War II painter. Dance is her passion and she loves to share it with all levels of dancers!
