Master Classes
with Madhavi Reddi
No previous dance training necessary.
Please wear cool, comfortable clothing that is easy to move in, and bare feet.
Dance attire (leotard, yoga pants, etc.) welcome but not required.
Madhavi Reddi has been learning Bharatanatyam for the past 16 years under the guidance of Mrs. Padmarani Rasiah Cantu and holds an ardent interest in Indian classical dance, music, and culture. Over the years, Madhavi has given over thirty performances at various schools/universities, Indian Assoc. of Charlottesville events, the Indian Embassy in Washington DC, museums, and festivals both in the United States and in India. In June of 2010, she gave her “arangetram” (solo graduation performance) and since then, has continued performing both at her school (American University) as well as in India. At American University, Madhavi is also a member of the AU Bhangra team (Punjabi folk dance) and performs with her team on a regular basis.
