Still Life Painting

Still Life Painting

with Jessie Coles

for Intermediate and Advanced Painters
Oil or Acrylic
for adults

Students will learn to see composition in terms of gesture, rhythm and color relationships that sing.  Working with a large central still life, participants will reduce images to their simplest terms (shape, value and color), while looking for the surprising and unexpected.  We will focus on what the eye sees rather than what our minds tell us about what is seen.  For oil and acrylic painters.  Class supplies list will be sent to students when they register.

Fall 2017:  Jessie is preparing for her May exhibit at Les Yeux du Monde.
