• CELLO CAMP FOR ADULTS
with Dr. Beth Cantrell
Sunday, June 9 – Thursday, June 12 from 6:30 – 8:45 pm
Tuition: $160 + $5 Registration Fee = $165
This camp is for adult cello students who desire to improve their playing.
Daily sessions on scales, technique, and cello ensembles for the entire group.
Masterclass opportunities for each participant (individual lessons within a group setting) will also be offered. The last day concludes with a brief concert open to family and friends of participants.
• MARIGOLDS WORKSHOP
with Sharon D. Tolczyk (Art & Creative Movement) & Boomie Pedersen (Theater)
June 10 – 12 from 9:30 – 11:30 am (T-W-TH)
PK/K/Gr 1: Ages 4- 6 (must turn age 4 by 6-15-2025)
Maximum 9 students
Tuition: $120 + $5 Registration Fee = $125 (includes materials)
Marigolds is a summer workshop created especially for pre-school/rising K/1 students. The workshop will focus on the theme of Marigold flowers. Students will participate in class sessions of enjoyable and age-appropriate creative movement and theater games, and create a Marigold flower to use in a short studio presentation for parents at 11:30 am on Friday.
• ART WORKSHOP #1 with LAURA ALLEN

Rising Grades 1 – 5
Maximum 10 students
Tuition: $138 + $10 materials + $5 Registration Fee = $153
Explore the fabulous world of visual art through an array of multi-media projects. Students will create in a variety of platforms including painting, printmaking, collage, and sculpture. Projects will weave art history, technique, elements, and principles of design as well as a big dollop of creativity and fun. Projects will vary from Workshop #1; students may enroll in either or both workshops.
• ART & THEATER WORKSHOP #1

• ARTS SAMPLER WORKSHOP

Our Arts Sampler is a fun and enriching workshop that offers children a chance to explore and experience Art, Theater Games, Creative Movement, and Music, emphasizing engagement, creative process, and enjoyment. Children may work in age-differentiated groups or together. The schedule includes Art & Theater every day, supplemented by Creative Movement or Music. Breaks for snack and stories will be outside under the trees (weather permitting). The workshop is designed so that children who have participated in previous summers may participate again with new projects & experiences.
• NATURE ART SCAMPER #1

June 23 – 27 from 9:00 – 11:00 am
Rising 1st – 6th Grade
Maximum 10 students
$230 + $15 supplies +$5 Registration Fee = $250
Playfully inspired by our environment and natural objects, we will creatively explore a variety of mediums and fun techniques. Your artist will come home with new ideas, and finished works of art that will inspire their making efforts at home, as well as their own custom nature printed tote bag to keep their projects and materials in! Projects will differ; children may enroll in either or both workshops.
• PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP (BALLET/MOVEMENT, THEATER, ART)

June 23 – 27 from 9:15 am – 3:15 pm
Rising Grades 1 – 6
Maximum 12 students
Tuition:$365 + $15 Art Supplies + $5 Registration Fee = $385

This is an interdisciplinary workshop that creates a short original production with choreography/vignettes centered around a focus/theme, tailored to the workshop participants. Students will learn verse and movement/choreography in small groups or as an ensemble, and create art, props, and costume pieces to use in the performance and take home! Lunch & breaks outside under the trees (weather permitting). For students with or without previous ballet training, with an interest in ballet/movement/theater/art. Students will be grouped according to experience level/ages.
Studio Performance for families at 3:15 on Friday.
• INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED BALLET INTENSIVE

June 30 – July 4 from 9:15 am – 3:15 pm
Intermediate & Advanced level Ballet students (for Middle- & High School students & adults)
(placement required for students not enrolled at Crozet Arts)
Tuition:
$365 + $5 Registration Fee = $370
$265 + $5 Registration Fee = $270 for sibling in same workshop, same week
This workshop is for Intermediate & Advanced Ballet students with solid (and current) Ballet training. The workshop will include a daily pre-barre/floor barre warm-up followed by a Ballet technique class with a varying focus each day, and a daily pointe class (may be taken in ballet shoes for those not yet on pointe). Additional classes will include Variations/Repertoire/Modern//student Choreography/costume design/other based on student interest. A studio presentation of the week’s work will be given at the end of the week for families/friends. • MIDDLE SCHOOL ART WORKSHOP with LAURA ALLEN
July 9 – 11 from 9:00 – 11:30 am (W-Th-F)
Rising Grades 6 – 9

This new workshop will focus on Ballet and Art, for students with ballet training in rising 4th – 6th grades. Each workshop day will begin with a ballet warm-up (including some introductory work in Modern Dance and Character). The remainder of the day will be spent on developing a student-choreographed ballet, setting choreography, and making props/headpieces/costume decorations/backdrops/etc for the ballet. Selections from Crozet Arts costumes will be available for the students to use. This workshop aims to give students the opportunity to choreograph on themselves/in small groups, and learn about what goes into creating a ballet. The instructor will offer enough structure to guide the creative process, while nurturing the camaraderie inherent in -and necessary for- working together in an engaging and enjoyable pursuit. Lunch & breaks outside under the trees (weather permitting). The week will conclude with a studio performance on Friday at 3:15 for friends and family.
• MIDDLE SCHOOL PRINTMAKING

July 14 – 18 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm
Rising Grades 6 – 9
Maximum 10 students
Tuition:
$250 + $25 Materials +$5 Registration Fee = $280
This experience is designed to inspire creativity and excitement for making while experiencing several printmaking techniques that can be expanded as your artist matures. We will explore a variety of techniques including relief printing, screen printing, and gelatin printing. Your artist will emerge with new ideas for their artmaking as well as finished prints on a variety of media, and a silk-screened tote bag.
• Students should bring a blank cotton t-shirt to print on as well.

Experience the challenges and the joys of drawing in this 6-week, Sunday class introducing beginners and others to the basic, essential incremental steps for drawing confidently from observation (and imagination too). We will explore a small range of drawing materials including graphite pencil, conte’, pen & ink, and ink wash as we employ some of the very best traditional and contemporary drawing strategies. Loads of helpful handouts as well as group and personal feedback.
