2021 Arts Sampler (Art, Theater, Creative Movement)

Maximum Enrollment: 12 Students (divided into smaller groups)

July 12 – 16 (Monday – Friday)
9:30 am – 12:30 pm

Tuition: $185 (includes all supplies)

The 2021 Arts Sampler workshop day will be divided between Theater, Art, and short Creative Movement sessions, with breaks for snack and reading aloud by teachers between classes. Art classes will work on projects to take home at the end of the week. Theater class activities may include theater games, improvisations, creative scenes, ensemble exercises, exercises to promote confidence building, creative thinking, stimulating imaginations, having fun! … perhaps poetry or some narrative. Workshop students will be divided into two age-appropriate groups, and remain in these groups for the week. Breaks will be outside under the trees, weather permitting, or distanced in a studio.

—> Students should bring a large [old] t-shirt to use as a smock, or wear art-friendly clothes that do not mind paint/glue/etc.

—> Students should bring a snack, water bottle, and clean towel (for sitting on) every day; please label personal items with name. Please note that there are no drinking fountains in the building, so water bottles are crucial!

—> Students with long hair: please pull hair back into ponytail to avoid paint/glue/etc.
