After a lengthy career in museum exhibit development and design, Charlene Cross decided to focus on her inner creative spirit for personal expression. Discovering metal jewelry design and fabrication was a joy that continues to this day. This medium allows her curiosity to flourish while exploring the many techniques available to jewelry artists. Adding to that was when she brought vitreous enamel into her design. Yet still, working with students of all ages, she finds that there’s nothing more exciting than teaching techniques to others and watching their faces light up with excitement as they develop their own work.

Charlene is a juried Resident Artist at the McGuffey Art Center in Charlottesville; a juried Associate Artist at the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, VA; and a Member of The Enamelist Society.
