Sketching

We are going to discover some of the basic skills of sketching in this short five-week class. Beginning by working in the studio and then, as weather permits, the class will try ”en-plein-air” work too. After introducing traditional pencil sketching techniques, we will learn strategies for adding areas of bold value contrasts and experiment with both permanent and water-soluble inks. For beginners to advanced students who have at least a little experience with drawing or painting.
