New session of Children’s Theater Classes
with Boomie Pedersen, Artistic Director of the Hamner Theater

Once Upon a Time
Theater Class for children ages 4 – 5
(must be age 4 by September 1, 2014)

An opportunity for pre-schoolers to work together to act in their favorite tales and stories
and to make up new ones, while learning to listen to each other!

Wednesdays 4:00 – 4:40pm
4 weeks:  November 12 – December 10 (no class November 26)

Tuition:  $56 + $3 registration = $59

Stories on Stage
for children in Grades K – 2

Students will begin to learn about what makes an interesting character onstage and how to use the creative impulse to bring stories to life, while building self-confidence and working together.

Mondays 4:30 – 5:30 pm
5 weeks:  November 10 – December 15 (no class November 24)

Tuition:  $81 + $4 registration = $85

Names, Games and Plays
for children in grades 3 – 6

Using theater games and exercises, this class will work toward the “production” of an original  short play.  Students will learn the various elements of stage craft and put them to work.

Wednesdays 5:00 – 6:00 pm
5 weeks:  November 12 – December 17 (no class November 26)

Tuition:  $97 + $5 registration = $102

New Teen-prov Workshops
with Boomie Pedersen
Improv games and exercises help build self-confidence and ensemble spirit,
as well as encouraging imaginative thinking and on-the-spot problem solving!

Saturday, November 15th
Grades 6 – 9:  1:30 – 3:00pm

Grades 9 – 12:  3:15 – 4:45pm

Tuition:  $18/workshop
