Kindergarten – Grade 5:   3:45 – 4:45 pm

Grades 5 – 8:   4:45 – 5:45 pm

You know about artists like Matisse and Picasso, but have you ever wanted to learn to paint in their style?  We will talk about six different artists and then paint a painting each week in the style of each.  We will paint with acrylic paints, (which are hard to get out of clothes, so wear your old grubbies … or bring or borrow a smock).

Tuition:  $116 + $5 Registration Fee + $20 Materials = $141

Registration will open for Famous Artists in October.

Kacie-Linn Engle was an art and science specialist for Seattle Public Schools prior to moving to Charlottesville in 1999. Upon arriving, she decided that she wanted to spend more time with her own family, and opened an art studio in her basement where she teaches year long after- school art classes. She is thrilled to have been also teaching at Crozet Arts since 2010.  She was voted, “Favorite Teacher in the School” by her students in Seattle, and likes to believe it’s her warm, nurturing attitude that students like.  An artist in her own right since childhood, she can often be found laboring over her own pieces at her desk at all hours of the day and night.  She is a Virginia State Certified elementary art teacher.  Visit her website for more pictures and information: www.Kacie-LinnEngle.com.
