NEW Child/Teen Theater Classes

Late Fall Session: 6 weeks
Tuesdays: November 10 – December 15, 2015
3:45 – 4:30 pm: Grades K – 2
Engage Imagination! – play with a purpose – find a voice for the imagination…and maybe a costume!
Tuition: $78 + $5 registration fee = $83
4:35 – 5:35 pm: Grades 3 – 5
Staging Play/Playing Onstage – use theater games and exercises to tell stories and create characters.
Tuition: $96 + $5 registration fee = $101

6:00 – 7:00 pm: Grades 5 – 8
Elements of Acting and Stagecraft – investigate the essential ingredients that go into making a play both on and backstage.

7:15 – 8:15 pm: Grades 8 – 12
Acting Basics – use monologues and scenes to investigate some of the basic methodologies of acting and finding truth onstage.

This class offers string players an opportunity to explore advanced-beginner to intermediate level chamber music (quartets and trios) in a relaxed and friendly group setting. Classes will also include tips on developing better technique, ensemble playing, and group tone quality.
