2017-18 Ballet Classes begin Tuesday, September 5th
Registration for returning families will open August 15th.
Registration for new ballet students will open on August 22nd.

Fall 2017 Watercolor Sketching
with John A. Hancock
Sundays: 1:00 – 4:00 pm
5 weeks: October 1 – 29, 2017
Adults & Mature Teens
Regular Tuition: $179 + $4 Registration = $183
Senior Tuition: $154 + $4 Registration = $158
Let’s explore the use of watercolor as a sketching medium in this short five week class. We will begin by working in the studio and, if weather permits, include some “en-plein-air” work. Besides exploring traditional “pencil + watercolor” sketches, we will learn to use watercolor (color and/or value) alone … and experiment with watercolor pencils/crayons too. For beginner to advanced students who have at least a little experience with drawing or painting.

Early Fall Open Studio

Wednesdays from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
8 weeks offered: August 30 – October 18, 2017
Would your drawings, painting, and collage work be easier to work on in a studio with large tables and easels? … all in a well lit studio with great northern light? Could your projects benefit from a little discussion or some helpful critiques? Come join me and a small group of supportive fellow artists working in the wonderful Crozet Arts studio. The tables, chairs, and easels are ready to go! … camaraderie, tea, and coffee are available at no extra charge! Pay for the full 7 sessions and get an extra one for free; you will be able to choose any or all of the eight class meetings.
